It bordered on frustrating for me because the way you move is so odd. With practice though, this could be rewarding.I am reccommending it because there's nothing wrong with it being challenging, and someone else may really enjoy the mental challenge this game offers. I can see myself coming back to it, and practicing to the point that I can properly predict how the "player" will move when I click. But I would still say this is my least favorite of the Nickervision games - it just didn't appeal to me right away, nor did I feel great about how I could play it after a bit. It really requires some work to understand where the pivoting movmenet is going to send you (at least for me). If you're up for a little indie S&M though, get in there bucko ;). Reaching 50+ score takes a serious amount of fast planning and precise execution, while top 10 players have 100+ scores.Overall Pivot XL provides solid 1-2 hours of entertainment for it's cost.. swang sweng swing swong swung. My favourite game by this developer by a hefty margin. It's a ton of fun and a challenge both in game, making split second, nearly subconscious decisions about routing, and in between games, figuring out the mechanics and successful strategies and improving personal performance. It's not just about beating your high score, It's about beating your previous understanding and technique.. Like this developer's other games, this is a decent and simple "quick game" for the price, good for when you just want to kill a few minutes. It's challenging and takes a few games to fully figure out how to play as the tutorial doesn't really explain everything well enough. There's not a lot of replay value esp. after you unlock all the playable characters but it's fun for playing a few minutes at a time and, like is other games the price is right at a buck or less. Seems to be geared more towards those who like really difficult high-score-chasing games.. I have loved all the other games from this dev but this one is horrible and frustrating..
